Kids at the Ft. Lauderdale Beach

The "kid" on the left is now 20 years old. The "kid" on the right is now 24, with a baby of her own.

Time flies, no matter what you're doing!

Does it make you feel old???

We had our kids late, so our son is 24 and our daughter is 27. So, are these grandchildren, or did you also start late?

It sure does! My daughter is turning 32 next month and my son will be 30 in December. I can't believe it.

They were sweet, and I'm sure they still are!

Yes, very true. You blink and they are all grown up. Then you look in the mirror and wonder who the heck that is looking back at you.

Oh, the camera question..neither of those. It's Minolta. When I bought that big lens, used, I also got my first Minolta, used. By the time the digital stuff came out, I had too many lenses and too much invested to change. Now that Minolta is defunct, I use Sony because Sony bought Minolta. I have an adapter that makes that big lens a 600mm.

Yep--they do grow up--way too fast.

Today I have kids at the beach and your side bar shows a frame of a church. I try but now I won't cry.

Just goes to show how timeless a photo like this is.

I'm ba-aack!!

Stanwood proper is at a 5ft elevation ans where I live is according to my altimeter close to 1000ft and according to a friends GPS 850ft--so why the difference I don't know unles it is because I am still using IE. "Giggle"
500ft is considered "the foothills"---I live about 20-30min. from downtown Stanwood--depending how fast one drives. I live on the edge of of the 'Pilchuck Tree Farm'--15000 acres of forest.

No!
