Last Gasp

In central Florida, fall hangs on through the winter, and some trees which shed their leaves do so very reluctantly. In fact, in certain cases, the old leaves hang on even as new leaves begin to sprout. This is one of those cases. It's a last gasp before spring and summer destroy all remnants of the fall and winter seasons.
